About the Role

You will forecast required parts, maintain bills of materials, source and manage suppliers, and place production orders. You will track lead times, deliveries, quality issues, inventory, and production spending. You will improve procurement processes, support ERP implementation, and coordinate supply chain, warehouse, and production workflows.

Requirements

• Two to four years of purchasing, procurement or supply chain coordination experience
• Spreadsheet skills
• Supply chain knowledge
• Lead-time management
• Inventory control
• Supplier communication
• Purchase-order management
• English communication skills
• Residence in the Netherlands
• Ability to commute onsite to Amsterdam

Responsibilities

• Forecast parts needed for robot production
• Set up and maintain bills of materials
• Find, qualify and manage suppliers
• Set delivery expectations and follow up on delays, quality issues and inventory problems
• Source and order production tools, materials and supplies
• Build processes to manage stock levels and prevent shortages or overstocking
• Provide production and R&D spend forecasts
• Support ERP implementation and migration of procurement and inventory processes
• Create processes that improve coordination across supply chain, warehouse and production
