Category Buyer (Procurement)

Location: s-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands; onsite five days a week. The role also covers supplier deliveries to the Service Parts Distribution Centre in Grimbergen, Belgium.

Base minimum pay: €59,828.52 per year.

What you will do

• Develop and execute global product group and category strategies, sourcing programs, procurement policies, and supplier agreements.
• Manage strategic and tactical purchasing for project-based and non-project-based goods and services.
• Act as the primary contact for international suppliers and lead buyer for suppliers serving multiple hirify.global facilities.
• Negotiate commercial terms and manage supplier performance, contracts, risks, delivery reliability, quality, and production performance.
• Identify cost-reduction, inventory-optimization, quality-improvement, and supply-risk opportunities.
• Manage purchasing spend of up to USD 50 million and guide locally appointed Supply Network Specialists.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree level or equivalent HBO working and thinking capability.
• Relevant experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or supplier management.
• Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes, supply chain management, sourcing strategies, procurement terms, logistics, quality assurance, and cost analysis.
• Experience with data analytics, predictive modeling, automated business systems, ERP applications, and Six Sigma tools.
• Strong negotiation, contract management, supplier relationship management, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English is required.
