International Logistic Specialist (m/f/d)

Location: Enfield, United States; full-time onsite position

What you will do

• Organize and coordinate international transportation, with a focus on Europe-to-USA shipments.
• Plan, manage, and monitor ocean, air, and ground freight operations.
• Prepare and maintain import, export, and shipping documentation.
• Manage U.S. imports, including HTS classification, customs tariffs, and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal departments.
• Support technical purchasing and optimize delivery schedules, supply-chain processes, and costs.

Requirements

• Completed commercial training in logistics, freight forwarding, international trade, or a comparable field.
• Experience with international shipping, import and export operations, and U.S. customs clearance.
• Knowledge of HTS codes, customs classification, international Incoterms, Microsoft Office, and ERP systems.
• Excellent German and English communication skills, written and spoken.
• Independent, structured, solution-oriented, accurate, and reliable working style.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in an international environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in technical purchasing or an industrial procurement environment.
