What you will do

• Expedite assigned suppliers and commodities by obtaining firm promise dates and shipment plans.
• Identify delivery risks and drive recovery actions, including pull-ins, split shipments, alternate sources, and premium freight approvals.
• Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, brokers, and warehouses on production readiness, routing, documentation, and delivery appointments.
• Resolve quality holds, partial shipments, customs and documentation errors, and related delivery issues.
• Synchronize material dates with Buyers, Planners, Site Materials, and Project Managers while maintaining accurate ERP/MRP records.
• Produce supplier on-time-delivery and past-due reports, support outage and turnaround tracking, and recommend process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or logistics; or an associate’s degree with three years of relevant experience; or four years of expediting, materials, or logistics experience.
• Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.
• Experience with shipment documentation, including bills of lading, advance ship notices, and standard shipping terms such as INCOTERMS.
• Follow-through, stakeholder communication, and basic data analysis skills using Excel or BI tools.
• Availability for onsite work in Columbus, Ohio.
