Senior Manager, Technical Accounting

What you will do

• Lead technical accounting research and prepare formal accounting position papers for complex and emerging US GAAP matters.
• Partner with external auditors and stakeholders across Accounting, Finance, Legal, and other functions.
• Design, implement, and operate SOX 404 controls for assigned technical accounting areas.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, SEC disclosures, and related support.
• Build technical accounting capabilities through training and scalable decision-making frameworks.
• Lead special projects, workflow improvements, and AI initiatives for accounting processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Active CPA license.
• 10+ years of progressive experience focused on technical accounting.
• Strong expertise across multiple areas of US GAAP and the ability to conduct independent research.
• Prior public accounting experience; Big Four experience is preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite, plus strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
