Manager, Technical Accounting & Policy

Location: Hybrid in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, with a minimum of three days per week in the office.

Salary: $90,000–$125,000 yearly, bonus eligible.

What you will do

• Analyze and document complex and non-recurring transactions, including business combinations, divestitures, leases, impairments, and restructuring activities.
• Prepare technical accounting memos supporting management conclusions under U.S. GAAP in collaboration with external auditors.
• Advise Controllership, FP&A, and business finance teams on accounting issues and translate guidance into operational execution.
• Monitor accounting pronouncements and coordinate implementation of relevant new standards.
• Support technical accounting disclosures, including footnotes and MD&A, and maintain audit readiness for key estimates and judgments.
• Improve SOX processes, develop training materials, and advise on control design for new or evolving operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification required.
• At least 4 years of experience in financial accounting, audit, or accounting policy roles, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting, and SOX compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical, leadership, communication, collaboration, and influencing skills, with high attention to detail.
• Willingness to work in the Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey office under the hybrid schedule.
