TL;DR

Manager, Technical Accounting & Policy (Finance): Executing technical accounting strategy and supporting policy application with an accent on complex transaction evaluation and U.S. GAAP compliance. Focus on SOX control documentation, technical research, and cross-functional collaboration with Controllership and External Reporting teams.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to the Englewood Cliffs, NJ office (Hybrid: 3 days/week)

Salary: $90,000 - $125,000

What you will do

• Lead accounting analysis and documentation for complex transactions including business combinations, leases, and divestitures.
• Prepare technical accounting memos to support management conclusions under U.S. GAAP.
• Provide technical guidance to finance teams and act as a subject matter expert on revenue recognition and equity.
• Support SOX control documentation and ensure audit readiness for key estimates and judgments.
• Monitor emerging accounting pronouncements and coordinate implementation readiness across the organization.
• Collaborate with External Reporting on footnote disclosures and MD&A sections.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and active CPA license required.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in financial accounting, audit, or policy roles.
• Must be willing to work onsite in Englewood Cliffs, NJ at least three days per week.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting, and SOX compliance.
• Proven ability to influence and collaborate across multiple organizational levels.
