Treasury Accounting Manager (AI)

Location: Dallas, TX, United States. The position requires access to export-controlled information and applicants must meet applicable U.S. person, authorization, or export-license eligibility requirements.

Base salary: $127,000–$168,000 per year, plus discretionary bonus, equity awards, and benefits.

What you will do

• Manage daily accounting and operational execution for interest rate swaps, FX forwards, cross-currency swaps, power hedges, and other derivative transactions.
• Coordinate with Treasury and Energy Management to incorporate new transactions into accounting, reporting, controls, and close processes.
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, rollforwards, valuation support, settlements, and treasury accounting schedules.
• Maintain trade confirmations, valuation reports, hedge designation documentation, effectiveness assessments, and other supporting records under ASC 815.
• Prepare financial instrument disclosures, flux analyses, close materials, and audit support for quarterly and annual reporting.
• Support AI initiatives, ERP transition, automation, process optimization, and coordination of recurring Treasury Accounting deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA and master’s degree are strongly preferred.
• 6+ years of relevant financial accounting and reporting experience.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP; derivative and hedge accounting experience under ASC 815 is preferred.
• Experience with SOX controls and internal or external audit requests.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with detailed accounting schedules and large data sets.
• Must meet applicable U.S. export-control eligibility requirements for access to controlled information.

Nice to have

• Public accounting or Big Four experience.
• CPA certification and a master’s degree.
• Experience with derivative and hedge accounting under ASC 815.
