Full Stack Engineer (AI/Python)

Location: United States; remote

Salary: $165,000–$185,000 per year OTE, including base salary and applicable target bonus.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain Python backend services, REST/GraphQL APIs, and integrations with internal and external systems.
• Implement AI/LLM-powered workflows, including retrieval-augmented generation, agentic workflows, orchestration, prompts, and guardrails.
• Connect services, tools, and data sources into reliable and observable workflows across the agentic platform.
• Build responsive and accessible React interfaces from Figma designs, wireframes, and component libraries.
• Collaborate with product, UX, and engineering teams to estimate work and deliver iterative increments.
• Write tested code, participate in reviews, improve CI/CD and engineering standards, and diagnose issues across the stack.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, including substantial production Python experience.
• 2+ years using an agentic coding harness such as Cursor, Windsurf/Devin, or Claude Code as a daily driver for production work.
• Hands-on experience integrating LLMs or AI services such as AWS Bedrock, OpenAI, Anthropic, LangChain, or AgentCore.
• Strong API design experience, plus knowledge of data modeling, persistence, SQL/NoSQL, queues, and event-driven patterns.
• Experience with React or another modern frontend framework and the ability to implement responsive, accessible interfaces using design systems.
• Experience with cloud-native development, containerization, secure coding, authentication and authorization, observability, and agile delivery.

Nice to have

• Experience with multi-agent graphs, tools, guardrails, and human-in-the-loop workflows.
• Knowledge of message buses, workflow engines, infrastructure as code, Terraform, CloudFormation, and cloud CI/CD.
• Experience supporting shared platforms used by multiple product teams.
• Familiarity with reusable UI component libraries such as shadcn or Material.
• Relevant AWS, Anthropic, Claude, or GitHub Copilot certifications.
