Full Stack Engineer (Gov't Tech)

Location: US-Remote

Base compensation: $150,000–$170,000 annually, with 25th, 50th, and 75th percentile points of $150,000, $160,000, and $170,000.

What you will do

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain end-to-end cloud-hosted and cloud-native applications.
• Collaborate with federal technical and business leads to clarify requirements, goals, and problem statements.
• Own software engineering and SDLC activities, including repository management, Agile delivery, coding standards, and tested artifacts.
• Develop APIs, API gateways, API security solutions, and distributed application architectures.
• Implement serverless designs and infrastructure automation using CloudFormation or Terraform.

Requirements

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a government-issued Public Trust.
• 10–20+ years of experience in software engineering, distributed systems, and cloud-native development.
• Hands-on experience with web frameworks and programming languages including Angular, React, Python, Node.js, or Rust.
• Experience with API design and deployment, API gateways, API security, microservices, event-driven, three-tier, and service-oriented architectures.
• At least five years of hands-on experience with cloud technology stacks, including AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, or Oracle.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, GitHub, and JFrog, plus knowledge of Google JavaScript/JSON and PEP 8 coding standards.

Nice to have

• Google Cloud experience is preferred.
• One to two years of responsible use of AI tools, particularly for accelerating unit and system testing.
