Fullstack Engineer (AI)

Location: Sunnyvale, California, USA; hybrid working model with in-person office collaboration

Salary: $209,700–$311,400 base salary, plus $330,459–$519,534 equity

What you will do

• Build fullstack features for search, scenario mining, agentic tooling, and web applications used to curate scenarios and create test suites.
• Work with model developers and researchers to identify pain points and define measurable success criteria.
• Take scenario-mining capabilities from prototype to production scale.
• Extend agent tooling to run evaluation workflows end to end.
• Work with Databricks, Spark, and large-scale data systems.
• Own the reliability, performance, maintainability, and architecture of shipped software.

Requirements

• Strong development skills in Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, and React or similar frontend frameworks.
• Strong SQL skills, including database design and optimization.
• Experience building production-level fullstack systems and reliable, high-performance APIs.
• Experience creating robust, maintainable systems using engineering best practices.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, including effective work across time zones.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and use AI development tools to build AI-augmented workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience with search, embeddings, or retrieval systems.
• Experience with Databricks, Spark, or similar large-scale data-processing platforms.
• Experience with Flyte or other job-orchestration frameworks.
• Experience building agentic or LLM-powered developer tools, including MCP servers.
• Experience building tools for ML, robotics, infrastructure, scientific visualization, or complex data interfaces.

Hiring process

• 30-minute recruiter screen.
• Programming and hiring-manager interviews lasting approximately two hours total.
• Systems and domain-specific technical interviews lasting approximately two hours total, followed by a 45-minute mission and values interview.
