Technical Project Manager

Location: Huntsville, Alabama, United States; onsite. US Citizen/Clearable security status required.

Salary: $140,000–$170,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead cross-functional teams through the planning, execution, and delivery of complex software development projects.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, technical dependencies, resources, and milestones.
• Coordinate developers, engineers, testers, stakeholders, leadership, and customers to ensure successful delivery.
• Analyze complex project challenges and develop solutions involving technology, methodologies, tools, staffing, and execution.
• Provide application systems analysis and strategic planning for software development, maintenance, and support.
• Foster Agile best practices and continuous improvement while ensuring business, technical, and operational requirements are met.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• At least 6 years of experience in project management, software development management, or technology leadership.
• Experience managing large or complex software development projects.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycles.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Must be eligible to work as a US Citizen/Clearable candidate in an onsite Huntsville role.

Nice to have

• Experience working in AWS cloud environments.
• Experience supporting government, defense, or enterprise software programs.
• Technical background in software development, systems engineering, or cloud architecture.
