Maintenance Technician III - Journeyman

What you will do

• Build manufacturing lines and production cells to support production needs.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production-line equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair advanced mechanical, electrical, and PLC-controlled systems.
• Coordinate internal resources and external vendors for maintenance and repair projects.
• Support machine and equipment relocations and provide technical assistance to project managers and engineers.
• Train technicians and apprentices in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and PLC equipment.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of experience with equipment and automation in automation, robotics, metal fabrication, paint, or assembly operations.
• Advanced mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand complex equipment issues.
• Advanced knowledge of PLC hardware and programming systems, with the ability to maintain and troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment.
• Advanced welding experience and the ability to design, fabricate, and weld mechanical structures, guards, and equipment.
• Knowledge of robotics, automation, industrial maintenance codes, and regulations.
• Knowledge of OSHA, Arc Flash, LOTO, and NEC requirements; PIV and aerial lift training and certification.
