Equipment Maintenance Technician (Aerospace Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Kinston, North Carolina, United States. Must be willing and able to work any shift. Relocation assistance is available for qualified positions.

What you will do

• Inspect facilities, machinery, and equipment to identify required preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Test, troubleshoot, repair, disassemble, and assemble machines and equipment.
• Work with hand tools, power tools, PLC and CNC systems, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Move and position heavy equipment and installed property using established methods.
• Perform rigging and support plant maintenance by obtaining required materials, equipment, and replacement parts.
• Enter and retrieve maintenance data in the Computerized Maintenance Management System and order required parts.

Requirements

• Experience troubleshooting electrical schematics.
• Workkeys Assessment completion or a high school diploma/GED.
• Ability and willingness to work any shift.
• Ability to operate tools, production equipment, hydraulic lifts, moving platforms, and forklifts.
• Ability to work at heights up to 40 feet and comply with required PPE standards.
• Current United States work authorization is required; visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Nice to have

• Experience with industrial or automation maintenance.
• Experience with CNC or PLC systems.
• Experience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or Fanuc equipment.
