Team Lead & Events Manager

Location: Onsite in Overland Park, Kansas, United States; travel required 30% of the time.

What you will do

• Lead and develop a team of three associates responsible for tradeshow and conference programs.
• Plan and execute more than 150 annual tradeshows, including the exhibit floor at the CONNECTIONS user conference.
• Manage event budgets, timelines, work-back schedules, deliverables, logistics, inventory, catering, room layouts, and vendor contracts.
• Build and strengthen vendor relationships, coordinate partners, and align event strategy with senior leaders and organizational priorities.
• Monitor KPIs and implement data-driven process improvements to increase efficiency and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• At least 6 years of experience in tradeshow association management, booth layout and concept development, and user conference planning.
• At least 4 years of experience managing financial budgets or accounting tasks, vendor relationships, and pricing negotiations.
• Experience managing multiple complex projects, direct reports, and competing priorities.
• Ability to work onsite in Overland Park, Kansas, and travel 30% of the time.
