What you will do
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections of purchased, new, reworked, and component parts and raw tubing.
- Review certification packages, work orders, inspection methods, drawings, specifications, dimensions, and tolerances.
- Measure components and tubing using a variety of tools and verify measurement-tool calibration.
- Maintain inspection databases and spreadsheets, complete tags and documents, and scan certification packages.
- Prepare non-conforming material reports and outside-processing paperwork, and contact suppliers about certification issues.
- Move accepted materials to warehouse stock locations and support related documentation activities.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Three to six months of related experience and/or training.
- Ability to read complex drawings and specifications and use inspection and measurement tools.
- Ability to stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk, and hear regularly.
- Ability to lift or move up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 25 pounds occasionally.
- Consistent, dependable attendance and close vision with the ability to adjust focus.
