Senior Systems Engineer (Azure/OCI)

Location: West Hills, California, United States. The role includes recurring physical work in manufacturing, warehouse, or production environments and approximately 10% travel to company locations for infrastructure projects.

Salary: $130,000–$216,000 annual target base pay for candidates in California and the New York metro. The national target base pay range is $117,000–$195,000.

What you will do

• Lead infrastructure modernization, migration, optimization, technology refresh, and lifecycle initiatives.
• Manage enterprise cloud platforms including Microsoft Azure and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
• Administer VMware, Nutanix, Windows and Linux Server, IBM Power Systems, IBM Storage, and NetApp environments.
• Design, implement, and support enterprise server, storage, virtualization, data center, networking, and operational services.
• Manage patching, backups, replication, disaster recovery, security controls, capacity planning, and infrastructure documentation.
• Collaborate with business units, IT teams, vendors, managed service providers, and cross-functional technical teams.

Requirements

• Four-year degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least seven years of experience designing, implementing, administering, and supporting enterprise systems infrastructure.
• Experience with VMware vSphere/ESXi, Nutanix, Windows Server, enterprise storage, virtualization, backup, recovery, high availability, and business continuity.
• Experience with monitoring, patch management, security, infrastructure operations, technical troubleshooting, and infrastructure project leadership.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• U.S. work authorization is required; immigration sponsorship and support, including Form I-983 STEM OPT training plan completion, are not available.
