Technical Lead (Vue.js + Nuxt.js)

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States; onsite

Salary: USD 50,000–175,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead the architecture, design, development, and delivery of enterprise-scale applications with Vue.js and Nuxt.js.
• Define front-end standards, frameworks, best practices, and implementation strategies.
• Build reusable front-end components and implement SSR, SSG, and API-driven architectures.
• Collaborate with backend teams on RESTful API and microservices integration.
• Mentor developers through code reviews, pair programming, technical coaching, and knowledge sharing.
• Drive quality, performance, accessibility, SEO, security, automated testing, and CI/CD practices.

Requirements

• 8–12+ years of software development experience, including 5+ years with Vue.js.
• Strong Nuxt.js, SSR, SSG, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and front-end architecture experience.
• Experience leading development teams and delivering enterprise applications.
• Knowledge of design patterns, software architecture, scalability, Agile/Scrum, and stakeholder management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to work onsite in Chicago, United States.

• Experience in retail, eCommerce, or digital transformation projects.
• Experience leading distributed or offshore teams.
• Knowledge of AI-enabled web applications and modern digital platforms.
• Exposure to enterprise integration and API management platforms.
