Staff Software Engineer (Frontend)

Location: US, Remote; up to 5% travel may be required.

Base salary: $199,750–$260,000 annually, plus equity eligibility for full-time roles.

hirify.global is a remote cybersecurity company building the NodeZero platform for autonomous penetration testing and proactive identification, remediation, and verification of exploitable attack vectors.

What you will do

• Drive front-end architecture decisions and define scalable application patterns across the NodeZero platform.
• Design reusable UI systems, component libraries, frameworks, and abstractions that improve consistency and development speed.
• Lead cross-functional technical initiatives involving multiple engineering teams and reduce technical debt in shared infrastructure.
• Improve front-end performance, reliability, observability, accessibility, testing, CI/CD, and developer workflows.
• Write production code in React and TypeScript, review code, and provide technical guidance on complex implementation challenges.
• Mentor engineers across teams and influence technical strategy, standards, and long-term platform direction.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience building modern web applications used in production at scale.
• Deep expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
• Strong knowledge of front-end architecture, application design, state management, asynchronous data flows, and API integration.
• Experience leading large technical initiatives across multiple teams and designing reusable component systems.
• Experience improving front-end performance, reliability, and maintainability, with strong debugging and problem-solving skills across front-end and full-stack systems.
• Experience mentoring engineers, influencing technical direction, and communicating effectively in collaborative, fast-moving environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with platforms, frameworks, shared infrastructure, monorepos, modern build systems, GraphQL, AWS, Datadog, and cloud-native environments.
• Experience with Product Design, design systems, startup environments, or cybersecurity and offensive security.
• Experience using AI-assisted development workflows and engineering tooling.
