Frontend (Vue)

Location: Reston, Virginia, United States; hybrid with mandatory onsite days and residence within commuting distance of Reston required

Salary: $130,000–$170,000 per year

What you will do

• Design, develop, and deliver modern secure software applications for intelligence missions.
• Build frontend solutions primarily with Vue, JavaScript, and TypeScript while integrating backend services and data sources.
• Troubleshoot defects, identify root causes, and implement preventive fixes.
• Analyze and test code before merging and formal release, including automated testing and deployment activities.
• Collaborate on client requirements, best practices, user-story grooming, task breakdown, and effort estimation.
• Maintain software and improve development processes and user interactions.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Interim or active Secret clearance is required, with the ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret/SCI with CI Poly.
• 3+ years of experience developing distributed software applications as a software engineer.
• Frontend experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, Vue, React, and Angular, plus frontend microservices and API best practices.
• Experience with Linux, Git, Jira, Confluence, Artifactory, Agile development, relational and NoSQL databases, and secure software systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or an equivalent field.

Nice to have

• DoD or Intelligence Community software development experience.
• Frontend testing with Jest, Vitest, or Jasmine.
• Python, Java, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Jenkins, Keycloak, OAuth2, JWT, AWS, or Azure experience.
• Experience developing customized code for multiple projects simultaneously.
