Senior Software Engineer, Frontend (Vue)

Location: New York, New York office

Base wage: $188,000–$242,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop frontend web applications for internal and public use.
• Gather requirements and partner with team leads to create effective, on-brand user experiences.
• Implement designs with a high level of fidelity and ensure strong usability.
• Research design patterns and propose technical solutions to web UI/UX problems.
• Code, test, and deploy modern web applications.
• Help hire and develop the growing frontend engineering team.

Requirements

• 7+ years of frontend development experience.
• Mastery of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Expertise in at least one frontend framework, such as Vue or React.
• Working knowledge of at least one server-side language, such as Ruby, Python, or Golang.
• Experience building reliable, modular, customer-facing applications with attention to performance and security.
• Strong judgment, communication, collaboration, mentorship, and leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Prior experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.
