Principal Software Engineer (.NET/Vue)

Location: Hybrid in Ashburn, Virginia, US; two days onsite per week required. U.S. citizenship is required.

What you will do

• Participate in Agile Program Increment and Sprint ceremonies.
• Design and develop .NET middleware, user interface, and web services applications.
• Build integrations with PostgreSQL databases, hardware devices, and vendor SDKs.
• Create software design documentation, including design diagrams, data flow diagrams, and module descriptions.
• Manage testing activities, troubleshoot defects, and provide Tier 3/4 production support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• 9+ years of software development or engineering experience.
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a DHS Public Trust security clearance before starting.
• Experience with C#, .NET Core, Web API, JavaScript, Vue.js, PostgreSQL, AWS, and Agile development.
• Experience with multi-threaded applications, exception handling, web services, troubleshooting, and resolution.
• Experience using Visual Studio, Git, Jenkins, GitLab, xUnit, and SonarQube.
