Sr. Software Developer III (.NET/AWS)

Location: Hybrid in McKinney, Texas, United States; work from home Monday and Friday, with office attendance Tuesday–Thursday.

What you will do

• Own full-stack features from requirements through production, including APIs, data layers, AWS services, and front-end interfaces.
• Design and build scalable, data-driven applications with ASP.NET Core Web API, C#, Vue or Angular, and TypeScript.
• Develop authentication, authorization, background processing, messaging, and data integration workflows.
• Build and maintain AWS infrastructure, security workflows, Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, and Git release processes.
• Diagnose production issues, improve performance and security, and support live applications and end users.
• Lead architecture discussions and code reviews while mentoring junior and mid-level developers.

Requirements

• 10+ years of production software development experience.
• 5+ years with .NET Core, ASP.NET Core Web API, and C#.
• 3+ years of production AWS experience with services including Step Functions, Cognito, Lambda, S3, RDS, and API Gateway.
• 3+ years of SQL Server schema design, T-SQL, stored procedures, and query optimization.
• Working-level experience with Vue 3 or Angular and TypeScript, plus experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD and Git workflows.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with DynamoDB, Aurora, SSIS, IICS, MuleSoft, EF Core, Dapper, Redis, Docker, and SonarQube or SonarCloud.
• Experience packaging and releasing iOS or Android applications.
• Knowledge of VB.NET and front-end testing with Vitest or Jest.
