Software Engineer (.NET/C#)

Location: Illinois, United States; hybrid

Salary: $79,000–$119,000 per year, plus an annual performance bonus and long-term incentives.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and operate cloud-based services for core product workflows.
• Build full-stack features across .NET/C# backend services, React/JavaScript frontends, and SQL data layers.
• Build and maintain integrations with third-party cloud data sources, notification providers, and internal platform services.
• Apply containerization, event-driven architecture, and infrastructure-as-code patterns on Azure.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines, deploy team-owned services, and use logging, metrics, and distributed tracing to investigate production issues.
• Participate in on-call rotations, incident response, security remediation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency in C# and .NET, or a comparable object-oriented language with willingness to learn the stack.
• Experience building software services, preferably cloud-based.
• Ability to implement well-defined features and debug issues with support from senior engineers.
• Familiarity with relational databases and SQL.
• Ability to collaborate with engineers, product managers, and adjacent teams on regular sprint delivery.

Nice to have

• JavaScript or TypeScript and React experience.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD tools.
• Familiarity with New Relic, Splunk, or equivalent observability tools.
• Experience with OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, third-party APIs, or enterprise SaaS integrations.
• Knowledge of containerization, event-driven design, or infrastructure-as-code, preferably on Azure.
