Environmental Compliance Specialist

What you will do

• Oversee site environmental remediation programs, coordinate with contractors, and manage the Facility Corrective Action Permit.
• Prepare monthly wastewater discharge analysis reports and air emissions reports in collaboration with clients and contractors.
• Assess chemicals for hazardous air pollutants, volatile organic compounds, PBTs, and TSCA chemicals of concern, including PFAS.
• Lead the ISO 14001 environmental management system, maintain EMS documentation, and participate in management systems meetings.
• Update environmental documentation, support internal and external audits, and prepare annual management review meetings.
• Review SPCC Plan changes and conduct NPDES inspections at two industrial complexes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, chemistry, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in environmental compliance covering air, stormwater, and waste.
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and state regulatory compliance requirements.
• Experience with manufacturing plant safety programs, hazardous materials, and chemical storage.
• Experience in incident investigation, root cause analysis, emergency response planning, and OSHA recordkeeping.
• Knowledge of ISO 14001 systems, regulatory inspections, and agency engagement.
