Salary: $61,800–$135,800 annually, depending on U.S. pay zone and location

What you will do

  • Manage environmental compliance programs covering wastewater permits, Tier II reporting, SWP3, SPCC, hazardous waste, and environmental permitting.
  • Lead HSE compliance, sustainability initiatives, performance metrics, and pollution prevention efforts at the manufacturing site.
  • Conduct safety audits, inspections, environmental assessments, monitoring, and sampling activities.
  • Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Lead HSE training and communications for employees and partner with operations, maintenance, and plant leadership.
  • Serve as the primary contact for inspectors and maintain required federal, state, and local permits and reporting.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience supporting EHS programs in a manufacturing, industrial, or regulated production environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, occupational health and safety, or a related field; equivalent experience and certifications may be considered.
  • Knowledge of EPA, RCRA, Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, stormwater management, SPCC, Tier II reporting, hazardous waste, and environmental permitting.
  • Experience with inspections, audits, compliance assessments, environmental monitoring, sampling, reporting, and corrective actions.
  • Strong leadership, communication, training, and collaboration skills.
