Senior Electrical Estimator, ANS (Data Center)

Location: Remote; some in-person time is required for collaboration, learning, and client and team relationship building.

A global capital projects business delivering data centers, power grids, rail networks, factories, and other major infrastructure programs from strategy through construction and handover.

What you will do

• Analyze invitation-to-bid documents, construction drawings, specifications, and scopes of work to determine electrical requirements.
• Perform detailed quantity take-offs using digital take-off tools such as Bluebeam, Accubid, and LiveCount.
• Prepare cost estimates covering materials, labor, equipment, subcontractors, and other direct costs.
• Solicit, analyze, and level vendor and subcontractor quotations.
• Develop basis-of-estimate documentation covering assumptions, inclusions, exclusions, and clarifications.
• Collaborate with operations and pre-construction teams on value engineering, constructability reviews, and virtual bid meetings.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as an electrical estimator in the construction industry.
• Experience estimating large-scale commercial or industrial electrical projects.
• Direct experience with data center projects is required.
• Proficiency with electrical estimating software such as Accubid or ConEst.
• Proficiency with digital take-off tools such as Bluebeam Revu.
• Ability to manage multiple estimates while meeting strict deadlines.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of primary and secondary power distribution, emergency and backup power systems, branch power, lighting, fire alarm, and grounding.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, organizational, and detail-oriented skills.
• Ability to independently read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and RFPs.
