Senior Estimator (Gas Power Generation)

Location: Remote with travel required; candidates must hold valid, independent U.S. work authorization.

Salary: $100,561–$145,814 per year

What you will do

• Lead procurement and estimating activities, coordinating bids and ensuring accuracy and technical compliance.
• Calculate safety, PPE, training, and job hazard analysis costs for project bids.
• Select subcontractors, conduct bid reviews, and ensure quality and policy compliance.
• Plan estimates, participate in pre-bid meetings, and create preliminary project schedules.
• Conduct project site visits and compare actual costs and production results with estimates.
• Mentor and develop estimating staff through training and varied work experiences.

Requirements

• Four-year degree in construction or engineering, or equivalent technical training and experience.
• Five to seven years of experience as an estimator or equivalent related experience.
• Experience with gas-powered generation is required.
• Advanced knowledge of construction markets, estimating strategies, cost control, purchasing, and scheduling.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, purchase orders, contracts, and cost coding systems.
• Valid, independent U.S. work authorization is required; H-1B and permanent residency sponsorship are not available.
