Senior Power BI Developer (Python & Automation)

Location: Hybrid schedule in Charlotte, North Carolina, with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote; Irving is the second-choice location.

What you will do

• Lead the design, development, and automation of end-to-end Power BI reporting and analytics solutions.
• Build, test, and support automated ETL pipelines for semantic models, reports, and dashboards.
• Automate data validation, testing, UAT, refreshes, monitoring, error handling, and data quality controls.
• Integrate and transform enterprise data using reusable and scalable ingestion patterns.
• Optimize data models, semantic models, metadata, business definitions, lineage, security, and governance controls.
• Enable self-service analytics and improve AI-driven analytics and natural language query experiences.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience with Power BI development and business intelligence solutions.
• At least 5 years of analytic development experience.
• At least 4 years of Tableau and Power BI experience.
• Strong Python, GitHub, automation, complex data analysis, data modeling, and ETL skills.
• Ability to lead complex projects independently, mentor junior developers, and communicate with stakeholders.
• Must work onsite 3 days per week in Charlotte or, as a second-choice location, Irving.

Nice to have

• Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with API integration and Microsoft SQL.
