Full-Stack Application Engineer (Business Intelligence)

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain front-end applications, data pipelines, workflows, reports, dashboards, and semantic models.
• Develop semantic layers, data transformations, repositories, and integrated data products using BI and data platforms.
• Analyze data sources, flows, timing, quality, and reliability across systems.
• Translate stakeholder requirements into actionable business intelligence products.
• Apply data architecture principles covering modeling, lineage, governance, optimization, version control, testing, and CI/CD.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and developers while contributing to BI development best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, data analytics, or a related field, or qualifying equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related role; 9 years of related experience may substitute for a degree.
• Advanced proficiency with BI and reporting tools, including Power BI or Tableau.
• Strong SQL skills, complex query development, relational databases, ETL, data integration, and data warehousing.
• Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, React, or JavaScript is preferred.
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. security clearance are required.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree, BI or data analytics certification, and aerospace or defense industry experience.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, SSIS, SSAS, stored procedures, data profiling, and ETL/ELT best practices.
• Knowledge of Cognos, QlikView, TIBCO Spotfire, SAP BusinessObjects, or SAP Crystal Reports.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, modern data architecture, and cross-functional collaboration.
