Senior Business Intelligence Analyst - Finance & Accounting (AI & BI)

Location: On-site in Renton, Washington, in the Greater Seattle Area; relocation provided. Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted to the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Base pay for Washington applicants: $145,188–$203,263.20 annually. Other site ranges may differ.

What you will do

• Own the Finance and Accounting BI tool portfolio, including capital management, labor reporting, and production applications.
• Set the BI strategy and roadmap with Finance, Accounting, and Enterprise Technology leadership.
• Partner with Enterprise Technology on business logic placement and automate inventory reconciliations and costing-rate monitoring.
• Design automated logic to detect, correct, and prevent transaction errors using transaction detail and accounting guidance.
• Identify reporting and controls gaps and lead the design and development of new BI tools.
• Represent Finance and Accounting BI needs in enterprise data governance discussions and mentor other analysts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or Data Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in business intelligence or systems analysis, ideally supporting Finance or Accounting.
• Experience independently owning BI tool strategy and roadmaps, including building reporting solutions from the ground up.
• Advanced proficiency with Power BI, Tableau, or an equivalent BI platform, plus advanced SQL knowledge.
• Working knowledge of cost accounting, including capital projects, labor allocation, or inventory costing.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives, influencing senior stakeholders, and mentoring analysts. U.S. citizenship, permanent residency, or qualifying lawful U.S. admission is required.

Nice to have

• Strong knowledge of capital project accounting or manufacturing cost accounting.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, OneStream, Databricks, or other ERP and cloud data platforms.
• Proficiency with Python or R, data warehousing, ETL workflow design, or AI/ML for large-scale error detection.
• Experience leading enterprise data governance or standardization initiatives.
