Senior Power BI Developer

Location: Hybrid schedule in Charlotte, NC or Irving, TX, with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote

What you will do

• Lead the design, development, and automation of end-to-end Power BI reporting and analytics solutions.
• Build scalable reports, dashboards, semantic models, reusable data assets, and self-service analytics capabilities.
• Design and support automated ETL pipelines, data ingestion patterns, refreshes, monitoring, error handling, and data quality controls.
• Optimize data models, metadata, and business definitions for performance, scalability, usability, and AI-driven analytics.
• Implement data quality, lineage, security, governance, validation, testing, and UAT processes.
• Lead complex initiatives independently, mentor junior developers, collaborate with stakeholders, and maintain technical documentation.

Requirements

• Advanced hands-on experience developing Power BI reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions.
• Strong experience with Power BI data modeling, semantic models, data integration, transformation, and validation.
• Proficiency with Python and experience with GitHub and source control practices.
• Experience automating reporting, testing, monitoring, refreshes, and data quality processes.
• Strong understanding of data quality, governance, lineage, security, and technical documentation.
• Ability to lead complex technical projects independently, mentor junior developers, and communicate with technical and business stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with ETL processes.
• Experience working with Agile development methodologies.
