Field IT Engineer (Cisco VOIP/UCCE)

Location: Remote within the USA, with up to 75% travel across South Texas and Louisiana; approximately three travel days per week and remote work from home on non-travel days.

What you will do

• Provide level-two support for WANs, LANs, field servers, and field applications, including on-call and on-site remediation.
• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure across decentralized field locations.
• Troubleshoot and administer Cisco VOIP phone system installations, including user additions, changes, and moves.
• Install, replace, and dispose of field computer hardware.
• Coordinate technology activities between field staff, management, vendors, and Corporate IT.
• Identify proactive solutions that reduce costs and improve operational efficiency, while reporting activities to management.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience supporting a decentralized IT environment, including end-user systems, local infrastructure, and overall IT services.
• Four years of computer network experience.
• Experience with Cisco VOIP/UCCE.
• CCNA certification.
• Ability to travel approximately three days per week, up to 75% within South Texas and Louisiana.
