R&D Senior Sustaining Program Manager

Location: On-site in Loveland or Fort Collins, Colorado, United States

Salary: $140,000–$170,000 USD per year, plus eligibility for bonus pay

What you will do

• Lead sustaining portfolio strategy, governance, prioritization, and investment roadmaps.
• Coordinate R&D, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, Regulatory, Product Management, and Commercial stakeholders.
• Develop and execute sustaining project plans covering scope, success criteria, risks, dependencies, quality, cost, and timelines.
• Manage product lifecycle and obsolescence risks involving components, suppliers, technologies, and platforms.
• Lead mitigation efforts for quality, supply, product, or production issues affecting customers, manufacturing, or revenue.
• Monitor product health metrics and drive continuous improvement, stakeholder communication, escalation management, and organizational learning.

Requirements

• Experience leading product lifecycle, obsolescence management, or sustaining engineering portfolios.
• Experience with manufacturing continuity, supply chain risk mitigation, and business continuity planning.
• Ability to develop portfolio-level strategies, roadmaps, and prioritization frameworks.
• Experience with regulated products, change management, and lifecycle management processes.
• Experience applying Visual Project Management frameworks.
• PMP certification or an advanced technical or business degree.
