Professional Services Engineer

Location: London, UK; requires onsite customer activities, up to 75% travel, and being based near a major international airport.

What you will do

• Install, configure, test, and troubleshoot data-storage solutions in customer environments.
• Perform onsite hardware rack, stack, cabling, labeling, software installation, cluster relocation, expansions, and occasional break-fix work.
• Ensure customer deployments are fully operational and meet performance standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams on product development and process improvements.
• Contribute technical expertise to training materials and runbooks for partners and customer support.
• Keep current with AI, storage, industry trends, and software releases.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a similar technical role.
• Expertise with data-storage technologies, including SAN, NAS, DAS, and cloud storage.
• At least 2 years of Linux CLI experience.
• Experience designing and implementing storage solutions in complex environments.
• Familiarity with VMware, Docker, networking, switch configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, customer-service, communication, and prioritization skills; ability to safely lift 30–40 kg.
