Cleanroom Equipment Technician (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Maintain the safe and reliable operation of cleanroom utilities, including HVAC, supply and exhaust air, gas, water, and electrical systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and installations on cleanroom support systems and incoming utility networks.
• Diagnose technical issues, minimize downtime, and maintain operational continuity.
• Coordinate maintenance activities in compliance with cleanroom standards and safety requirements.
• Identify system improvements and contribute to higher reliability across the facility.

Requirements

• Completed vocational training in mechanical, technical, maintenance, automotive, industrial mechanics, or mechatronics.
• Practical experience with mechanical systems and basic knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, gas, or utility systems.
• Strong hands-on problem-solving skills, independence, accountability, and willingness to learn unfamiliar technologies.
• Ability to work in cleanroom, laboratory, and facility environments, including elevated areas and restricted spaces.
• Ability to safely perform physically demanding maintenance tasks, including handling HEPA filters, valves, gas cylinders, and vacuum pumps with appropriate equipment and team support.
• Strong English communication skills are required; Dutch is advantageous for communication with external parties, management, and operators.

Nice to have

• Previous experience with semiconductor equipment or cleanroom operations is helpful but not required.
• Dutch language skills.
