Supervisor, Production (Manufacturing)

Location: Gainesville, Georgia, United States; onsite second shift from 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM

What you will do

• Supervise, coach, train, and develop manufacturing staff while setting expectations and monitoring performance.
• Plan production schedules, assign personnel, establish priorities, monitor progress, and resolve workflow issues.
• Monitor process control points, equipment, personnel, and resources while implementing process improvements and cost reductions.
• Maintain production quality, safety, cleanliness, and compliance with established standards and procedures.
• Compile and analyze production data, prepare shift summaries, and revise operating systems and procedures.
• Coordinate equipment repairs, evaluate new equipment and techniques, and resolve personnel issues.

Requirements

• 3+ years of manufacturing experience with people leadership.
• Strong leadership capability and manufacturing knowledge, including 5S and Lean Manufacturing.
• Experience with controls and instrumentation.
• Strategic planning capability.
• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school certification or a bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods in a manufacturing environment.
