Shift Supervisor - 1st Shift (Manufacturing)

Location: Newport, TN, USA; on-site, first shift

Salary: $93,600–$105,300 annual base salary, plus a 12.5% target bonus of annual salary

What you will do

• Lead safety processes and best manufacturing practices for the assigned shift.
• Coordinate production scheduling to meet customer demand, manage overtime, minimize inventory, and reduce costs.
• Direct continuous improvement initiatives using SPS, Six Sigma, Kaizen events, and lean manufacturing tools.
• Build productive relationships that support employee engagement and satisfaction.
• Provide direction, training, development, counseling, and discipline for hourly employees.
• Identify, propose, and implement capital projects that improve operational performance.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, science, or engineering strongly preferred.
• Must work on site in Newport, Tennessee, USA.
