Software Developer (CPQ)

Location: Bucharest, Romania; hybrid remote/office

What you will do

• Develop and maintain CPQ application tools for product configuration and pricing.
• Implement factory-specific requirements and product-owner-defined software features using clean code principles.
• Refine use cases and user stories, estimate effort, and define technical work packages within an agile team.
• Participate in Scrum and SAFe ceremonies and collaborate with product and development stakeholders.
• Improve code quality through reviews, refactoring, documentation, testing, and static analysis.
• Provide technical support and coordinate local CPQ implementations for manufacturing sites in Berlin and Wuxi.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 2–3 years of professional software development experience, preferably in an agile and DevOps environment.
• Experience with object-oriented programming, clean code, software architecture, design patterns, and CPQ application development.
• Experience with Scrum or Kanban, sprint planning, effort estimation, and collaborative delivery practices.
• Knowledge of unit testing, test-driven development, code quality tools, and static code analysis.
• Business-fluent English required; willingness to travel expected.
