Associate Implementation Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid role in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, at 3rd Emile Zola Street

What you will do

• Analyze client requirements and issues from functional and technical perspectives.
• Configure, integrate, and customize trading products to meet business needs.
• Partner with Product, Technical Account Management, and Support teams during client implementations.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues using Java, Linux, and SQL databases.
• Build, test, and validate technical deliverables before deployment.
• Improve deployment quality and support continuous product innovation in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• Required technical knowledge of Java, Linux, databases, and SQL queries.
• Client-facing communication skills, including meetings, presentations, demos, and regular stakeholder communication.
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively in a cross-functional Agile team.
• Excellent command of English is required.
• Interest in programming-based problem solving and accountability for technical delivery.

Nice to have

• Financial markets experience, including front-office systems, market connectivity, equities, derivatives, FIX protocol, or third-party vendors.
