C++ Developer (Infrastructure and Network Development)

What you will do

• Define technical solutions with Product Owners and Architects.
• Develop new products and extend existing infrastructure and network tools.
• Contribute to all development, maintenance, and housekeeping phases of the Enhanced Backup solution.
• Work on a large-scale backup platform processing up to 2 petabytes of data per day across millions of web hosts.
• Collaborate with engineers across teams in Bucharest and abroad.

Requirements

• Excellent C++ skills, including C++17 or newer, STL, concepts, multithreading, and network programming with TCP and UDP.
• Very good knowledge of Linux, Debian, Linux filesystems, permissions, processes, signals, forking, and IPC.
• Very good CMake knowledge and good experience building REST APIs and unit tests with Google Test.
• Experience with Python for integration testing and utilities, plus Docker and docker-compose for local development.
• Knowledge of OpenSSL, Bash scripting, Protobuf, Boost, and backup concepts is useful.
• Very good written and verbal English skills are required.

• General and block-based backup theory.
• Experience contributing to open-source projects.
