Sourcing and Property Counsel (Payments)

Location: Hybrid in London, United Kingdom; attendance in hirify.global’s London office is expected Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday each week.

What you will do

• Provide strategic legal support for complex sourcing and outsourcing matters across hirify.global’s European business.
• Draft, review, and negotiate sourcing agreements, outsourcing arrangements, service level agreements, statements of work, and related commercial contracts.
• Advise on regulatory requirements from European financial regulators, including the Bank of England, Financial Conduct Authority, European Central Bank, and Dutch National Bank.
• Support vendor onboarding and supplier management, including due diligence, risk assessments, and contract lifecycle management.
• Advise on leases, licenses, fit-out agreements, facilities management contracts, and other property matters across hirify.global’s European real estate footprint.
• Prepare legal templates, playbooks, and guidance; manage external counsel; and train business stakeholders on relevant law, processes, and policies.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer in England with 8–12 years’ post-qualification experience.
• Substantial commercial legal experience with regulated entities, preferably including in-house experience.
• Significant experience with commercial contracts, sourcing, or outsourcing matters; property law experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of the payments or financial services industry and applicable regulatory outsourcing requirements.
• Strong collaboration, communication, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English required. Experience using AI tools in a legal environment is also required.
