Programme Manager (ecommerce)

Location: London, United Kingdom; hybrid work with teams in the office an average of four days per week.

What you will do

• Lead delivery across complex programmes, ensuring scope, quality, budget, timelines, and business-case benefits are achieved.
• Manage programme risks, dependencies, reporting, governance, ways of working, and programme-level plans.
• Lead and support project managers, coordinate resource planning, and manage fulfilment of internal and external resource requests.
• Build relationships with client stakeholders, understand the client vision, and plan delivery accordingly.
• Manage third-party vendors and oversee commercial, financial, and delivery performance.

Requirements

• Experience managing multiple teams across different workstreams, with team management experience covering at least 20 people.
• Proven successful delivery of ecommerce migration or re-platform programmes and software application development projects.
• Strong stakeholder, negotiation, communication, relationship management, risk management, and organisational skills.
• Experience with fixed-price projects, programme budgets, financial monitoring, multi-vendor management, third-party oversight, and contract negotiations.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, release management, Agile delivery, Scrum, Kanban, and transitions from Waterfall to Agile.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills. A BA/BS degree in information management, marketing, communications, business, or a related field is advantageous.
