Reporting Accountant (Financial Accounting)

Location: Hybrid role based in Peterborough, UK

What you will do

• Manage accounting activities within the designated area of responsibility.
• Support accurate statutory, management, and financial reporting for UK entities.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and German GAAP requirements.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Transactional Accounting, FP&A, and other internal stakeholders.
• Act as a key contact for external auditors and tax advisors.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, optimise workloads, and support new systems and organisational changes.

Requirements

• Strong financial accounting knowledge and ideally 3–5 years of accounting experience.
• Fluency in Polish and English is required.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent problem-solving, organisational, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholder requirements, work with ambiguity, and handle confidential information with professional integrity.
• Degree in business, accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience in a shared service centre.
• Experience with S/4HANA.
