External Reporting Manager - Consolidations

Salary: £60,000–£65,000 per annum plus bonus and other benefits

hirify.global is recruiting for a fast-paced professional services business seeking a newly created external reporting role.

What you will do

• Prepare and deliver Group consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Lead month-end and quarter-end consolidation cycles, including consolidation journals, intercompany eliminations, reconciliations, and adjustments.
• Coordinate statutory financial statements and country-specific reporting requirements across Group entities.
• Coordinate corporate tax compliance, tax provisions, tax disclosures, and responses to tax authority enquiries.
• Act as the key contact for external auditors during interim and year-end audits.
• Improve reporting systems, templates, controls, governance, and finance transformation processes.

Requirements

• Experience in Group consolidation and external financial reporting.
• Knowledge of IFRS, statutory reporting, tax compliance, and financial statement disclosures.
• Experience coordinating with local finance teams, external tax advisors, and auditors.
• Ability to manage reporting timetables, deadlines, reconciliations, documentation, and audit trails.
• Strong understanding of financial controls, governance, and process improvement.
