Senior Finance Manager

Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire, United Kingdom; hybrid working.

Salary: £65,000–£70,000 per annum plus bonus and package.

hirify.global is recruiting for a major international group with a central finance function and a sophisticated multinational operating structure.

What you will do

• Lead, coach and develop the Financial Accounting team.
• Oversee monthly accounting close, reporting cycles, balance sheet governance, reconciliations and working capital.
• Manage intercompany, affiliate, fixed asset, inventory, lease, cash, banking and treasury-related accounting.
• Support group consolidation and monthly reporting to the parent company.
• Lead preparation of UK and international statutory accounts and ensure compliance with SOX, accounting policies and governance frameworks.
• Partner with Financial Control, Treasury, Company Secretarial and external auditors while delivering improvements to processes, controls and reporting.

Requirements

• ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification with 3+ years of post-qualification experience.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and experience preparing or auditing UK statutory accounts under IFRS, FRS 101 or FRS 102.
• Experience in a large or complex corporate or group structure.
• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Proven experience managing and developing finance teams.
• Advanced Excel, stakeholder management and communication skills, with a proactive approach to improving processes.
