Accounts Receivable Specialist

What you will do

• Manage the full billing cycle for sales, deployments, recurring services, and maintenance across global markets.
• Monitor aging reports, manage collections, and follow up with international clients on outstanding payments.
• Reconcile customer accounts and incoming payments in the ERP.
• Collaborate with Sales, Logistics, Customer Success, reporting, and D&M teams to resolve billing discrepancies and improve the order-to-cash process.
• Optimize dunning workflows and automate finance processes to reduce Days Sales Outstanding.
• Support treasury forecasting, month-end close, revenue recognition, audits, and management accounting reports.

Requirements

• 3–4 years of experience in Finance, specifically Accounts Receivable or Billing.
• Strong understanding of VAT regulations and international invoicing requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Spreadsheets, including large datasets and reconciliations.
• Professional communication skills for collection discussions and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Fluent English and Portuguese required.
• Proactive, solution-oriented approach with an interest in using technology to automate manual finance tasks.

• Direct experience with Odoo ERP.
• Experience in a high-growth startup or scale-up environment.
• Additional language skills.
