Business Development Manager APAC (Fintech)

What you will do

• Build and maintain strategic relationships with merchants, acquiring partners, payment providers, card schemes, and other payments stakeholders.
• Identify new business opportunities, own the commercial pipeline, and drive negotiations from initial outreach through partnership launch.
• Develop partnerships and payment-channel opportunities across the APAC region.
• Use knowledge of the AI ecosystem to identify commercial opportunities and build AI-market partnerships.
• Represent the brand in the market and collaborate with the wider business on commercial growth.

Requirements

• 3+ years of business development experience in fintech, payments, banking, or a related field, with 5+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• Strong expertise in payment acquiring, merchant accounts, banking, and alternative payment methods.
• Experience building partnerships and launching payment channels across APAC.
• Good understanding of the AI market and its commercial opportunities.
• Startup or high-growth company experience, with strong negotiation, communication, stakeholder-management, and commercial skills.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin is required.
