Cloud Engineer (m/f/d) (Azure/Kubernetes)

Location: Kleve, Germany or Utrecht, Netherlands; hybrid work options combining remote work with on-site collaboration.

What you will do

• Operate, maintain, and continuously improve Azure cloud and Kubernetes platforms, preferably AKS.
• Implement cloud infrastructure solutions based on approved architectures, standards, and business requirements.
• Maintain Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code and support platform upgrades, patching, automation, and lifecycle activities.
• Optimize CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes using Azure DevOps, Git, and Bitbucket.
• Monitor platform performance, availability, and security; investigate incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Support infrastructure and application teams, maintain technical documentation, and contribute to cloud modernization projects.

Requirements

• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and container platforms, preferably AKS.
• Experience with Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, Azure DevOps, Git, Bitbucket, and CI/CD concepts.
• Experience supporting Windows and Linux server environments.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, routing, DNS, firewalls, infrastructure monitoring, logging, and operational support.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and service-oriented support skills.
