Deployment Engineer (Robotics)

What you will do

• Prepare edge servers for robotic kitchens by checking hardware, installing Linux, and configuring system and application components.
• Deploy software releases using established processes and verify system and application health before and after deployment.
• Deploy and operate applications in existing Kubernetes environments and investigate workload issues using logs, events, resource status, and configuration.
• Troubleshoot applications, Kubernetes, Linux, networking, server hardware, and connectivity issues.
• Monitor deployed systems, perform maintenance, and follow procedures for updates, backups, and recovery.
• Document deployments and technical findings while collaborating with DevOps, Software, Robotics, Manufacturing, and Operations.

Requirements

• Solid Linux knowledge, including services, processes, permissions, logs, storage, resource usage, installation, and basic configuration.
• Hands-on Kubernetes and container experience in existing clusters, including deployment and troubleshooting.
• Structured troubleshooting skills across system state, logs, networking, and hardware.
• Understanding of IP addressing, gateways, DNS, DHCP, ports, connectivity, and server hardware.
• Basic scripting skills, ideally with Bash or Python, plus familiarity with configuration files, Git, repositories, branches, commits, tags, and release versions.
• Fluent English and an interest in hands-on edge infrastructure and robotics.
