Senior UK Payroll Specialist

Location: Andover, United Kingdom; remote option available in Poland.

What you will do

• Process multiple client payrolls accurately, efficiently, and on time.
• Support clients with payroll-related matters and provide holiday or emergency cover.
• Maintain payroll data and records in the hirify.global payroll application.
• Investigate payroll discrepancies and documentation issues to ensure accuracy and procedural compliance.
• Prepare reports, tax filings, correspondence, and other materials for UK statutory authorities.
• Support annual system configuration updates, assist colleagues with queries and training, and suggest process improvements.

Requirements

• Comprehensive knowledge and experience processing UK payroll.
• Experience calculating National Insurance, tax, and statutory payments including SMP and SSP.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Strong time management, administration, organisation, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to prioritise client payrolls, meet multiple deadlines, and maintain close attention to detail.
• Customer-focused, solution-oriented approach with ownership, integrity, and teamwork.
